1. In a saucepan, bring water to boil then turn off heat. Add tea bags, spices, and fresh turmeric and ginger and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
2. Drain the tea through a strainer and stir in the maple syrup, fresh lemon, and add a splash of plant-based milk (optional). Allow to cool and serve while still warm.
