This smoothie tastes like summer in a bowl. When the summer heat comes around, my sister and I find ourselves making a lot of smoothies and this one is on our top list. It is easy, creamy, and tastes like strawberry vanilla ice cream. Topping with a bunch of fruit, this bowl is basically like eating a rainbow. Plus, who doesn't love a creamy pink smoothie?
Prep time: 5 minutes Serves: 2
4 frozen bananas
1 large handful of fresh strawberries (frozen can be used too)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp maca powder
1. Chop the frozen bananas into small pieces so they blend easier, put them in the blender and add the other ingredients.
2. Blend with coconut milk until smoothie is creamy and fully blended. Top with fresh fruits and enjoy!
